(Changwon = Yonhap News) Reporter Hwang Bong-kyu = Gyeongnam Province selected 10 companies that have led job creation and job stability over the past year as "Gyeongnam Employment Excellent Companies in 2023" and held a "Employment Excellent Company Certificate Award Ceremony" in the provincial meeting room on the 23rd.

The "Employment Excellent Company Certification System" is a policy to spread the atmosphere of job creation for private companies by discovering and supporting companies that have contributed to the increase in employment.

Since the certification system was first introduced in 2010, it has been contributing to the creation of local jobs by certifying 243 companies in the province and creating 6,760 jobs.

Starting with the employment announcement in April, Gyeongsangnam-do verified applicants' qualifications, violations of laws, job growth, and the possibility of job creation to select excellent employment companies this year.

As a result, 10 companies were selected as excellent employment companies this year, including Gyeongin Tech, Dong-gu Company, D&M, Bumwoo Precision, Beomhan Industrial, Bukwang Precision, Samhyun, Sales and Inspection Technology, quasi-engineering, and P&L.

The best employment companies selected this time are companies that have created many jobs due to increased orders from major industries in the province, such as automobiles, machinery, defense, shipbuilding, and aviation.

At the awards ceremony, excellent cases such as Dong-gu Company, which attempted to hire full-time employees to re-certify excellent employment companies, and Beomwoo Precision, which had high job performance and work satisfaction among young people, were also introduced.

Excellent employment companies will receive a total of 15 types of administrative and financial benefits, including three years of certification (July 2023 to June 2026) ▲ up to 20 million won in work environment improvement costs to secure worker safety and improve quality ▲ up to 25 million won in employment incentives ▲ three years of local tax surveys.

Governor Park Wan-soo said, "It is important to create high-quality jobs preferred by young people at a time when economic indicators in Gyeongsangnam-do, such as exports and employment, are strong."
