LG Electronics Humanoid Robot Division Visits Samhyun Headquarters

On March 3, 2026, representatives from the Humanoid Robot Division of LG Electronics visited Samhyun’s headquarters in Changwon to tour its advanced robotic core component technologies and intelligent manufacturing infrastructure.

The visit was arranged as part of discussions on potential collaboration for joint actuators used in humanoid robots currently being developed by LG Electronics. The delegation sought to directly examine Samhyun’s technological capabilities and mass production facilities, as the company is recognized for possessing one of the highest levels of in-house drive system technologies in Korea. During the visit, LG Electronics representatives closely reviewed Samhyun’s core competitive strength—its 3-in-1 integrated solution (motor, controller, and reducer in a single unit)—and how this technology contributes to precise control and improved efficiency in robotic systems.

The visiting team was also introduced to Samhyun’s key module lineup, including humanoid robot joint modules developed based on high-level design data accumulated from the mobility sector, as well as in-wheel motors, drive modules, controllers, and reducers.

This visit demonstrates that Samhyun’s robotic drive technologies are among the top tier in the industry.
