Samhyun, a small and medium-sized company, completed a smart factory in Changwon Industrial Complex

(Changwon = Yonhap News) Reporter Kim Jung-hoon = Samhyun Co., Ltd., a small and medium-sized company with well-equipped materials, parts, and equipment designated by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, completed its smart factory on the 30th.

The company, which expected a sharp increase in demand for eco-friendly cars, signed an investment agreement with Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province, in November 2019 to invest 30 billion won to establish a new factory.

As promised, Samhyun bought the Changwon National Industrial Complex site in Palyong-dong, Uichang-gu, Changwon-si, and completed a smart factory that produces CVVD (continuous variable valve duration), a key component of automobiles.

The completion ceremony was attended by Park Jong-won, deputy governor of Gyeongsangnam-do Province, Changwon Mayor Huh Sung-moo, and Lee Jung-hwan, head of the Korea Institute of Materials.

Changwon City will push for the "Heo Sung-moo Coordinator" project named after Changwon Mayor Heo Sung-moo for companies that have signed an investment agreement to expand factories.

Heo Sung-moo' means 'unlimited management and support from permission to growth'.
