Samhyun Co., Ltd. Hosts Gyeongnam Changwon AX Demonstration Industrial Complex Participating Companies Roundtable

On February 6, 2026 (Friday), the “Gyeongnam Changwon AX Demonstration Industrial Complex Participating Companies Roundtable,”

chaired by the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy, was held at Samhyun’s headquarters in Changwon.

The roundtable was organized to accelerate the artificial intelligence transformation

(AX) of the Changwon National Industrial Complex and to expand Manufacturing

AI Transformation (M.AX) across industrial clusters. The event was attended by key

representatives from industry, academia, and research institutions, including Minister

Kim Jeong-kwan, President Park Min-won of Changwon National University,

Chairman Lee Sang-hoon of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation,

and President Kim Jeong-hwan of Gyeongnam Technopark,

who discussed strategies for expanding AX adoption and practical implementation measures.

Prior to the roundtable, the Minister reviewed the implementation plan for Samhyun’s

“Problem-Solving (Type 3) AX Leading Smart Factory” model.

Leveraging its core 3-in-1 Integrated Solution technology (motor, controller, reducer)

and accumulated design and mass-production data,

Samhyun is building a digital twin–based AI predictive quality improvement system.

Through this initiative, the company aims to reduce pseudo-defect rates—one of

the most persistent challenges in automated production lines—by over 30%,

while improving overall productivity by more than 12%.

Furthermore, as a representative leading smart factory model that enhances

both profitability and quality reliability in real manufacturing environments,

Samhyun plans to actively support the broader adoption of

AX within the industrial complex through experience programs and

the establishment of standardized frameworks.

During the meeting, CEO Ki-Won Park emphasized the need for practical support in

securing high-quality research talent for regional companies, stating,

“We will evolve beyond a simple component manufacturer to become a global

autonomous manufacturing solution platform company capable of immediate

application across manufacturing sites worldwide.”

Samhyun will continue to lead AX-driven manufacturing innovation and

contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of Korea’s industrial sector.
